Turkish Society of Thrombosis, Hemostasis and Angiology has founded by Orhan Ulutin in 1997.
The society has 222 members.

Aim of the association is to conduct researches and studies about trombosis, hemostasis, angiology and related fields; to establish connection and communication between researchers and clinicians in the field; to provide opportunities to researchers and to introduce and promote turkish of trombosis and hemostasis community.
The society has organized a national congress every year until 2007. Between 2007 – 2013 the society have not organized any congress. They start to make a congress in 2013. They have organized a national congress every year. Also the society had a successful international congress on May, 2016.
