Eugenia Biguzzi

Eugenia Biguzzi works as haematologist at the Institute of Oncology of Southern Switzerland, Ente Ospedaliero Cantonale in Canton Ticino, Switzerland.

She received her MD degree from the University of Pavia, Italy, in 1993 and her specialty in Haematology from the University of Milano, Italy, in 1997. In 2000, she worked in Charles T. Esmon’s laboratory in Oklahoma City, USA focusing on Protein C pathway. As clinician, she developed an interest in von Willebrand disease and von Willebrand factor.
